Out for Justice Book 2

Hello readers :) Thanks for checking out my blog. I hope you enjoyed Ricochet book one of the Out for Justice series. I am excited to announce Out for Justice book 2 will be Frost and Seth's story. The book is currently with my editor. Hopefully - keeping fingers crossed - Book 2 will be released sometime in September.

Excerpt from Frost and Seth's story (Untitled)

(Unedited of course! :)

“That man is so dreamy,” Seth sighed turning his gaze away from Asher Grayson code name Frost.
“Jeez, poor Dennis.” Noah laughed and nudged his shoulder.
Mentioning his current boyfriend had the effect of a cold bucket of water.

“Things okay at home? ” Noah asked turning to study him.
Seth avoided Noah’s searching gaze but after a moment he admitted, “I don’t know. Lately, I can’t get a read on Dennis. He’s distant and angry most of the time.”
     “What’s going on?”
“I don’t know. I’ve tried to talk to him. He just shrugs me off.” Seth found the damp paper towel in his hands suddenly fascinating.
“You deserve to be with someone who makes you happy,” Noah said softly.
He rubbed the towels along the counter. Noah had never made it a secret that he didn’t like his boyfriend. So really, Noah wasn’t the best person to talk to about Dennis.
Seth wanted what Noah and Mac had. He wanted to love and be loved in return. He wanted that with Dennis. But lately every conversation he had with his boyfriend led to negativity. Either Dennis ended up pissed at him for voicing his concerns or the guy called him a nag and paranoid.
Seth couldn’t ever imagine telling Dennis he loved him. He had an idea about tonight though, a surprise night in with dinner and a movie. He desperately wanted to get them back on even ground. Seth hated when things were strained between them. Dennis was a good guy, he must be doing something to set him off. Once he found out what that was, he could fix it.
Catching a glimpse of Frost, Seth deliberately turned away. Noah was right, he needed to focus his attention on his own relationship and not men who were players.

These stories are about badass men who not only help law enforcement clean up the streets but they also complete missions on an international level. Able to bypass governmental red tape and bull shit, Phoenix is set to help those in need. Each man comes with a unique set of skills. They are protectors who serve up their own kind of justice on the scum of the earth. If you're looking for action, adventure, suspense with m/m romance, you just might like these stories.

I hope you love them as much as I loved writing about them.

Hi gang,

My new series Out for Justice series include a unit known only as Phoenix.

Phoenix is an elite unit of top operatives (from all walks of life) that are brought in when cases get messy and/or law enforcement needs plausible deniability. Basically, Phoenix takes care of the scum of the earth that law enforcement can't due to red tape.
Phoenix specializes in tactical warfare, weaponry, hand to hand combat, and sophisticated technology. The unit is not widely talked about. Only high level government officials and a few individual government agencies such as the (FBI, US Marshals and Sheriffs) know of the teams existence. There is a collective sigh of relief when these entities can call on the unit to assist.
Phoenix is a team of badass operatives who serve and protect the innocent all the while hunting down bad guys. You will learn about the teams existence in book one and meet some of its members as they save one of their own.You will see the team come together in book two as they hunt for a madman. Book three reintroduces a missing brother-in-arms and new team members.
Each book can be read as a stand alone.
This badass Our for Justice series has the potential for several books.

Thank you for reading and I'll keep you posted on the release date for Book One Mac and Noah's story.

Time flies and I realized I hadn't posted for February. I have an update on the book. It has gone through the BETA process. Thank you to all my fabulous BETAs you rock. It has gone through the proofreading process. A big thank you to my proofreader for finding all my pesky grammar and punctuation errors. I am forever grateful.

Currently Mac and Noah's story is with my editor as of yesterday. Once she is done, I'll get it back for rewrites and etc. I'll need one more proof read after that and then it'll be off to the formatter. Eeek

I have found a title for the book, but I'm keeping it hush hush. I also have a beautiful and sexy cover created by an amazing artist. Without further ado, here is a blurb from Mac and Noah's story.

Mac took a chair, and Jake sat on the sofa. Master Mumbai sat in a chair across from them.
“I’m US Marshal McKenzie, and this is US Marshal Coleman.”
The man folded his hands in his lap and nodded, smiling pleasantly at them. “How can I help you, Marshals?” Mumbai asked.
“We’re here about a student of yours, a Noah Bradford. He would have been here about five, maybe five and a half years ago,” Mac said.
The man’s smile broadened. “Of course, I remember Noah. Is he in some kind of trouble?”
“Not that we know of.” Mac narrowed his eyes. “What can you tell me about him?”
Mumbai smiled, and this time, it wasn’t the polite smile the man probably reserved for his clients. This time it was a genuine smile that Mac thought the man didn’t give too often.
“Noah was one of my best,” the instructor said.
Mac watched Mumbai curious about the man’s reaction and Jake scooted to the edge of the sofa.
“What do you mean by, one of your best?” Jake prodded.
The instructor’s head bobbed in a continuous nod. “Noah was smart. and I don’t mean above average smart. He had an intelligence I rarely see. His attention to detail was impeccable. It was important for him to be perfect at the art.”
It sounded like Noah’s obsession with perfectionism served him well in martial arts.
“And was he, perfect?” Mac asked.

“Very much so, Marshal.” Mumbai nodded rapidly.
